Result
WHEREAS, Salt Lake City h sold Ensign Flats and now
has received Sixty Thousand 060,000 Dollars of the purchase
price, and;
WHEREAS, the City is very much in need of some new
public buildings, and;
WHEREAS, it is sound municipal financing that the yearly
operational expense of the City should be paid from its yearly
reveue and not from receipts from the sale of capital assets.
TH!EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the 4V60,000 received from
the sale of Ensign Flats, together with all future receipts by the
City from capital assets be placed in a special fund to be used
only for the financing of constructing public buildings.
This resolution shall take effect upon its adoption.
