RESOLUTION
Result . . . .
WHEREAS, Assistant Chief E. J. Steinfeldt has requested that he
be retired from employment in the Salt Lake City Police Department,
effective May 11, 1965; and
WHEREAS, over the many years he has served in the Police Depart-
ment, Chief Steinfeldt has always been a devoted and efficient member
of that department and has rendered faithful service to Salt Lake City
and its inhabitants; and
WHEREAS, he has made an outstanding contribution to the orderly
and efficient administration of the Police Department and to law
enforcement within Salt Lake City:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, that said Board, in its own behalf and in behalf of
the inhabitants of Salt Lake City, does hereby express to Chief
Steinfeldt its sincere thanks and appreciation for his long, faithful
and efficient service as a member of the Salt Lake City Police Depart-
ment and for his valuable contribution to law enforcement in this
city.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Recorder deliver to Chief
Steinfeldt a suitable copy of this resolution.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 4th day of May, 1965.
