WHEREAS, the Sala Lake City Board of Commissioners declared its
intention to create Sanitary Sewer Extension No. 1079; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners has determined and hereby deter-
mines that it will be in the best interests of said City to construct
a sanitary sewer line as specified in the plans, specifications and pro-
files on file in the office of the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, said Notice of Intention was published first on December
23, 1975; second, on December 30, 1975; third, on January 6, 1976, and
last on January 13, 1976, and that said notice was mailed postage pre-
paid to each owner of the property to be assessed within the special
improvement district at his last known address as said address appeared
on the last completed real property assessment rolls of Salt Lake County,
and also sent to "owner" at the street number of each piece of improved
property to be assessed; and
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of January, 1976, a public hearing was
held pursuant to Notice, in the chambers of The Salt Lake City Commission;
and
WHEREAS, protests respecting the creation of Sanitary Sewer Exten-
sion No. 1079 were heard and considered by the Board of Commissioners
on the 27th day of January, 1976; and
WHEREAS, the total assessable frontage in the entire district
amounts to 447.40 front foot and the total assessable frontage protested
amounts to 183.0 front feet, for a total frontage protest of 41.06%;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that the amount of protests to said Sanitary Sewer
District No. 1079, are hereby deemed to be insufficient to require any
change or alteration in the district as proposed, and, accordingly,
this Board does hereby create said district and does hereby authorize

the City Engineer to proceed with this project as planned.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
3rd day of February , 1976.
