Dear Sir:
In the matter of Curb and Gutter Extension No. 16,
Gillis Construction Co. , Contractors, it appears from the
papers in this matter that the second final estimate amounting
to the sur_s of 567.36 ne same bciag z;he City's portion for
said work, has not been paid owing to some disputes that have
arisen in regard to the same. After going into the matter
pretty thoroughly, I am of the opinion and recommend that the
Gillis Construction Company be paid the above -amount upon filing
with the Auditor a receipt for said amount in full of all claims
and demands of every name and nature connected with said Curb and
Gutter Extension No. 16.
I would further recommend that the Commission accept
the work as being fully completed according to the contract, and
• that the resolution herewith handed to you be adopted by the
Board of Commissioners.
Yours respectfully,
I:// 71'
HJD/ES City Attorney.
