RESULT -
RESOLUTION.
WHEREAS, various tracts of land within the limits of Salt
Le.ke City have been laid out into pretended aubdivisions of and
additions to this city, and such pretended subdivisions and
additions have not been platted according to law nor the arrange-
ment thereof approved by the City Engineer and the Board of Com-
missioners of this city, es required by law and ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the arrangement and laying out of the streets and
alleys in such pretended subdivisions and additions are not in
conformity to the existing streets and alleys of this city as to
width and direction thereof;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City,
That from and after the date of the passage of this resolution
no extension of the city water or sewer mains and pipes shall be
made to or into such pretended subdivisions and additions, nor
shall any public improvement in the way of curbing, guttering,
paving or sidewalks be constructed along or within the same, un-
less and until such pretended subdivisions and additions shall be
duly platted according to law and the plate thereof be approved
by the City Engineer and Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City.
