Finch Moran Mr.Chairman - - - Result RESOLUTION VdRRRa:AS, the Salt Lake City Mosquito Abatement District proposes to construct a drain ditch from North Temple to 9th South Street just east of the .irport .in Salt Lake City; and. \,HDREAS, said proposed drainage ditch will be of immeasur- able benefit to Salt Lake City, the inhabitants thereof and the owners and occupants of the lands traversed by said ditch; and ViHERLAS, said proposed ditgh in its course will. cross car- ' tain roads ana streets of Salt Lake City and also the line of rail- road of the Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company, Yestern ?auific Railroad Company and the Salt Lake, Garfield & Western Railroad Company, and the cost of culverts to take said ditch under or over said roads and streets and said railroads will be so expensive as to be prohibitive to said district. NOD, 'THERLFORE, BE IT RSR.OLVID by the 7.oard. of Commissioners • of Salt Lake City that said Salt Lake City agree to pay the cost of culverts for said proposed ditch where the same passes under all roads and streets of said city. AND BR IT FURTHER HLROLVS'D that the 3oard of Commissioners { do hereby request the said railroad companies to bear the expense of constructing culverts for said proposed ditch under the tracks of their railroads and that a copy of this resolution be furnished each of the railroad companies involved.
