JuL ,i71' Phillips , b(.L./Aa firtlIl RESOLUTION Result f/ RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCE WHEREAS, Ralph Martin Edgar departed this life on March 15, 1974; and WHEREAS, he has been employed with the Salt Lake City Department of Streets and Public Improvements since January 27, 1947; and WHEREAS, he was, at the time of his death, a foreman for the Salt Lake City Streets Department; and WHEREAS, Ralph Martin Edgar was dedicated to the service of the residents of Salt Lake City having served in the capacity of a foreman since August 16, 1973; and WHEREAS, he was a valued employee, a hard worker, conscientious, faithful and diligent in regard to his employment and to his service to the citizens of Salt Lake City; and WHEREAS, Mr. Edgar was respected, admired and well-liked by his fellow employees and by his friends and neighbors; and WHEREAS, in his passing, Salt Lake City has lost one of its most loyal, trusted and respected employees. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that it does hereby express on its own behalf and on behalf of the citizens of Salt Lake City, its profound grievance and expresses its most sincere sympathy to Elice Edgar, the wife of Ralph Martin Edgar, to his daughter and grandchild for the great personal loss which they have sustained. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be delivered to the family of Ralph Martin Edgar as an expression of our sympathy and deep feeling of loss.
