RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Salt Lake City desires to enter into a cooperative
agreement with Murray City; and
WHEREAS, under the terms of the Interlocal Cooperation Act
in the State of Utah, Salt Lake City has the authority to enter
into such an agreement with Murray City; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed by the City Council that it is to the
benefit of Salt Lake City to enter into this agreement which
provides that Salt Lake City will lease certain radio equipment
to Murray City; and
WHEREAS, this agreement would aid Murray City in affording
its residents improved police protection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt
Lake City, Utah, as follows:
1. Salt Lake City does hereby endorse and accept the
agreement between Salt Lake City and Murray City, whereby Salt
Lake City will lease certain radio equipment to Murray City,
subject to the terms and conditions of said agreement.
2. Mayor Ted L. Wilson is hereby authorized, empowered and
directed to execute the agreement on behalf of Salt Lake City
Corporation.
Passed by the Council of Salt Lake City this 10th day
of February , 1981.
