Remit RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on January 28, 1932, the Board of Commissioners
by resolution authorized the borrowing of $1,000,000.00 and the
issuance of sixty (60) bonds representative thereof, said bond num-
bered thirty-nine (39) being in the denomination of $10,000.00; and
WHEREAS, said bond numbered thirty-nine(39) has not been
sold and is on hand and in :the possession of the City Treasurer; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire and intention of the Board of
Commissioners to retire and cancel said bond.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that bond numbered thirty-
nine (39), bearing interest at the rate of six per cent per annum of
the Series of January 15, 1932, payable January 15, 1935, be and the
same hereby is cancelled and retired and the City Treasurer is hereby
directed to destroy said bonds by cremation in the presence of the
Board of Commissioners and report in writing his action with refer-
ence to its destruction.
It is necessary in the opinion of the Board of Commission-
ers for the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake
City, Utah, that this resolution take effect upon its passage.
This resolution shall tate ect upon its adoption.
