RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH:
WHEREAS, there existed a need for an impartial survey of the job classi-
fications and salary schedules of the employees of Salt Lake City; and
WHEREAS, the members of the Board of Commissioners recognised such a
need and the Mayor, in furtherance of such a survey, appointed the following public-
spirited citizens to act on a committee to make such a proposed survey; the follow-
ing persons being named to compose said committee:
Dr. Clyde N. Randall, Chairman
Dr. Reed C. Richardson
Wendell E. Adams
Elliott W. Evans
Orson Hottinger
Frank Openshaw
Paul Pehrson
Roy Simmons
Gayle F. Wineriter
Vera Thurman, Secretary
Bonnie Jeanne Raby, Secretary
WHEREAS, said committee entered into its duties with enthusiasm and
energy, spending long hours in surveying the job situation as it existed and the
salary schedules of the employees of Salt Lake City; and
WHEREAS, after considerable time and study, a very fine and comprehensive
report was made to the Board of Commissioners by this committee;
WHEREAS, this report will be of valuable assistance to the Salt Lake City
Board of Commissioners in adjusting the various job classifications and the salaries
of the said employees of Salt Lake City;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City does hereby acknowledge with appreciation this outstanding public service
rendered to Salt Lake City by said persons and hereby expresses its gratitude to:
