Result RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION WHEREAS, a number of public spirited citizens were appointed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt bake City as a Citizens' Review Board to review the salary and revenue problems of the city; and WHEREAS, a Wage and Salary Committee was formed from said Citizens' Review Board, with E. R. Fallentine as Chairman, to study and make recom- mendations as to the wage and salary structure of the city; and, WHEREAS, after many weeks of intensive study and investigation, without any monetary compensation, said Wage and Salary Committee has concluded its assignment, and, on May 31, 1967, submitted to the Board of City Commissioners its report and recommendations relative to wage and salary classifications of officers and employees of the city and salary schedules in connection therewith; and, WHEREAS, said committee has thus rendered to Salt Lake City, its officers and employees, a great technical and impartial service: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY that said Board, for itself and on behalf of its officers and employees and citizens of Salt Lake City, does hereby express to the members of said Wage and Salary Committee, and to its chairman, E. R. Fallentine, its sincere and deep appreciation for their untiring and unselfish work and for the able and competent manner in which they have fulfilled their assignment as evidenced in their report. The City Recorder is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to said committee. Passed by the Board of City Commissioners this 8th day of June, 1967. j J.
