Harmsen t(✓ � � leisaisen.Hagensen Phillips RESOLUTION Result WHEREAS, a bill has been proposed to the 1975 Session of the Utah State Legislature, which bill is designated as House Bill No. 190; and WHEREAS, said bill, if enacted into law, would provide that territory annexed to or consolidated with any municipality in the State would by virture of such annexation or consolidation become part of the Mosquito Abatement District whose territory is within the municipality and be taxable as part of such District; and WHEREAS, such a mechanism would aid in rectification of annexation problems in the Salt Lake City Mosquito Abatement District and would simplify annexation procedures throughout the State. NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City does hereby resolve that it does fully approve of the passage of House Bill No. 190 and does hereby urge the Utah State Legislature to take decisive and immediate action to pass said bill.
