I move that the Resolution lie adopted. fAgraz Greener Hogensen _ 421 Phillips RESOLUTION Result / WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Airport Advisory Council have con- tributed many long and devoted hours of service, without remuneration, to the betterment, orderly development and promotion of the Salt Lake City International Airport in order that said Airport might best serve the local and regional requirements for airport service; and WHEREAS, through their planning and recommendations and under their guidance and leadership a Master Plan was adopted to provide for an outstanding Airport; a bond issue for $25,000,000 was planned and implemented; and important land has been acquired with the funds which is to be used in the future development of the airport; and WHEREAS, the planning which the Council has undertaken provides a foundation upon which the future development of the Airport can take place and the fruits of their labor will be seen within the next few years; and WHEREAS, each individual member has served with great distinction and the citizens of Salt Lake and the residents of the State of Utah owe the Council a great debt of gratitude for the unselfish and diligent service which they have provided. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City that it does hereby express on its own behalf and on behalf of the citizens of Salt Lake City, its most sincere and deepest appreciation and gratitude for the Council's long and diligent service and does hereby commend each and every member of the Council for their dedication, contribution and willingness to give of their services to their community. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be delivered to each member of said Council.
