Greener MEI Phillips RESOLUTION Result if/f WHEREAS, it is necessary to obtain property for an 112' foot long easement across undeveloped land lying between Covecrest Drive as it appears in Mt. Olympus Cove No. 6 and No. 10 Subdivisions in Salt Lake County, Utah, for the installation of a watermain to com- plete the connection of the water network system in the area; and WHEREAS, the public interest and the necessity require the acquisition of the real property hereinafter described to establish the connection of the water systems in Mt. Olympus Cove No. 6 and No. 10 Subdivisions pursuant to the master plan to achieve maximum efficiency of delivery of services. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: That it is necessary and in the public interest of Salt Lake City and its inhabitants that the City, for the use and benefit of the public and Salt Lake City, to acquire the below described property located along the extension of Covecrest Drive in the Mt. Olympus Cove No. 6 to connect to the system in Mt. Olympus Cove No. 10; That said land hereinafter described, and the whole thereof is hereby determined to be necessary for said improvements as herein- above described; That condemnation proceedings be, and the same hereby are, authorized to be brought in the name of Salt Lake City Corporation by the Law Department of Salt Lake City to acquire thereby all land hereinafter described for the establishment of a 20' foot easement for the installation and connection of the water main completing the system necessary to adequately and effectively service existing and future development in the area. That the parcel of land hereby authorized to be acquired by condemnation proceedings in accordance with the provisions of the laws of the State of Utah, relating to eminent domain, is situated in the County of Salt Lake, State of Utah, and is more particularly described as follows, to wit: A Twenty (20') foot Easement 10 feet on each side of following described centerline. Beginning at a point 25 feet North 39° West and 80 feet South 51° West, from the most Westerly Corner of Lot 11, Mount Olympus Cove No. 6 located in the East half of Section 1, Town- ship 2 South, Range 1 East, Salt Lake Base and Meridian, running thence South 51° West 112 Feet more or less to the West line of Grantors Property.
