RESULT - -
RESOLUTION .
WHEREAS, The Oregon Short Line Railroad Company has heretofor;
erected a line of poles in the center of Third West Street between
North Temple and Fifth North Streets, in this city, without author
ity of law or valid permit so to do from Salt Lake City; and
WHEREAS, Said po1eq and !each of them are and is a menace to

life and limb, and are obstructions in said Third West Street, and
make said street dangerous to use by the public:
NOW THEREFORE, Be it resolved:
First. That any permit heretofore issued by the City Enginee
of Salt Lake City to the Oregon Short Line Railroad Company to
erect poles in the center of Third West Street between North Tempi;
and Fifth North Street in said city, be, and the same is hereby
revoked.
Second. That said poles and each of them are hereby declared
to be an.obstruction in the -said Third West Street, t menace to
-life and limb, and a danger to the use of said Third West Street
by the public.
Third. That the Oregon Short Line Railroad Company be, and
it is hereby required to remove said poles and each of them, from
the center of said Third West Street within thirty days after
service of a certified copy of this resolution upon it.
Fourth. That the Supervisor of Streets is hereby directed to
serve or cause to be served upon said Oregon Short Line Railroad
Company a certified copy of this resolution.
Fifth. That in case said Oregon Short Line Railroad Company
fails to remove said poles within the said thirty days, the Super-
visor of Streets of Salt Lake City is hereby directed to remove
said poles from the center of said Third West Street between North
Temple and Fifth North Streets in said city.
