RESOLUTION
Result
WHEREAS, various construction projects have been proposed in the
Capitol Hill area of Salt Lake City; and
WHEREAS, those projects will have significant impact upon Salt
Lake City residents by affecting their quality of living; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has previously expressed opposition
to any building until a Master Plan for State offices, together with
an Environmental Impact Study and a Traffic Study has been completed
and adopted; and
WHEREAS, the Master Plan has not been adopted nor have Environ-
mental nor Traffic Studies been completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Commission reiterates its firm opposi-
tion to any expansion to the Capitol Hill area until said Studies are
made and a Master Plan adopted.
