WHEREAS, Reed C. Culp has served as a member of the Salt
Lake City Library Board continuously since January, 1960, and
he has tendered his resignation effective March 22, 1969; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure of office as a member of said
board he has served as Chairman of several committees and has
faithfully attended to the duties of his office; and
WHEREAS, by this service on said board he has rendered
valuable and efficient service to the citizens of Salt Lake
City and has greatly contributed to the growth and influence of
the City's library as a great community endeavor:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSI-
ONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY, in its behalf, and in behalf of the
citizens of Salt Lake City, that said Board does hereby ex-
press to Reed C. Culp sincere thanks and appreciation for his
devoted and capable service to Salt Lake City as a member of
the Salt Lake City Library Board.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of
this resolution to Mr. Culp.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah, this 1st day of April, 1969.
