TRANSFERRING CERTAIN APPROPRIATION BALANCES FROM THE
DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND PUBLIC PROPERTY TO THE DEPART-
MENT OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS AND FINANCE
WHEREAS, at the time the budget of Salt Lake City for the fiscal
year 1964-65 was prepared and adopted the City Cemetery was a part of
and was being administered by the Department of Parks and Public
Property, and there was appropriated to that department for the adminis-
tration of said cemetery for said fiscal year under Cemetery Account No.
105 the amounts hereinafter specified; and
WHEREAS, by action of the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City
duly taken on the 23rd day of June, 1964, the administration of the Salt
Lake City Cemetery was transferred from the Department of Parks and Public
Property to the Department of Public Affairs and Finance; and
WHEREAS, the appropriations made in said 1964-65 budget under said
Cemetery Account No. 105 for the administration of said cemetery remain
unexpended and should be transferred from the Department of Parks and
Public Property to the Department of Public Affairs and Finance so that
the latter department may properly administer the affairs of said cemetery.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT
LAKE CITY, UTAH that the following unencumbered and unexpended appropria-
tion balances carried as Cemetery Account No. 105 in the 1964-65 budget of
Salt Lake City, be, and the same hereby are, transferred from the Depart-
ment of Parks and Public Property to the Department of Public Affairs and
Finance for the administration of the affairs of the Salt Lake City
Cemetery, to-wit:
General Fund, Operational Budget $181,915.00
General Fund, Department Capital Budget 4,645.00
Major Capital Budget 50,000.00

The above capital budgets are itemized as follows:
Departmental Budget:
1 - 3/4 Ton V-8 Pickup Truck with stake bed $2,245.00
1 - Gas Power Generator 600.00
15 Mowing Machines (Power) 1,800.00
$4,645.00
Major Capital
Sprinkling System $46,000.00
Furnace & gas line 3,000.00
Metal gates 1.000.00
$50,000.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor is hereby empowered
and directed to make said transfer of appropriations fully effective
and to do all things necessary to account for the appropriation so
transferred.
