RESOLUTION.
I YI1EIEAS it has been erroneously reported that the City
Commission favors the meter system in the general distribution
of water throughout the city; and
irH`1RIAS it has been announced that a ten mills tax levy
for the extension of the water supply has been decided unon; and
'uuI E_S a report has been circulated that only surety bonds
will be accepted for electric signs placed over the sidewalks
of the city, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that it be the definite statement of this
Commission that no increase in the tax levy for any purpose
whatsoever is contemplated; that the meter system has not been
adopted nor indorsed by the Commission and that personal bonds
are acceptable from business concerns placing electric signs
over the sidewalks of the city.
