Green —_ I Mr. Chairman Result RESOLUTION u,S, Salt Lake City has acquired certain water rights in the Green }itch leading from Big Cottonwood Creek in Salt lake County)by virtue of a contract heretofore made and entered into between the owners of the water of the Green Ditch and Salt Lake City, and Salt Lake City by virtue of the terms of said contract has agreed to construct a certain pipe line in order to deliver culinary water to the persons entitled thereto, and ta. increase tb a s Byo-- c:=i z1r.r; .:aer .-or city. CRIE3:a$, it is and is hereby declared necessary for the public good that said city construct said pipe line along the line described below and to acquire a perpetual easement of five feet on each side thereof. N0W, THEREFORE, BE I2 :1E3Cii BD, Chat the City .attorney be, and he is hereby directed and instructed to bring suit against the owners of the property hereinafter described for the purpose of acquiring a perpetual easement to construct and maintain said water pipes under the ground along the line described below as follows, to-wit: Beginning at a point in the west boundary of said property, said point being 189.75 feet east and S. 9° 2' E. 449.7 feet from the N.'1. Section corner of Section 3,4, 2 3. ,B 1 3.; thence N. 82° 21' 3.0 ft.; thence N. 87° 34' 30" E. 380.7 ft. to a point inthe east boundary of said land.; said point being 436.89 ft. east and 3. 25D 50' 07" is. 475.36 ft. from the N. Section Corner of Sect_on 14, 'i. 2 J. , R. 1 E. Beginning at a point in the boundary of said pro- perty, said point being West 1113.98 ft. and South 397.24 ft. from the F. 2. Section corner of Section 15, T. 2 S. , R. 1 E. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said City Attorney be and he is hereby instructed to commence such proceedings at once. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this resolution take effect immediately, and it is hereby ordered that the same be effective upon its 'passage.
