Result RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers of Salt Lake
County have requested of the city the use of the Old Mill located
at Liberty Park, a public park of Salt Lake City, for the use of
said organization and as a museum; and
WHEREAS, the Daughters of the Utah $inneers of Salt Lake
County is a patriotic society formed for the purpose of collecting
and preserving Utah history and relics and it is to the public inter-
est to encourage and foster the accomplishment of such purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commission-
ers of Salt Lake City, Utah, that the Old Mill at Liberty Park be
set apart for the use and benefit of the Daughters of the Utah
Pioneers of Salt Lake County for the purpose of using the same to
further the purposes of said society and as a museum, provided that
this permit may be revoked at the will of the Hoard of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City and upon the revocation of the same the Daughters
of the Utah Pioneers of Salt Lake County shall within thirty days
remove all of their property and return the building to the city.
Provided further, that no changes, additions or improve-
ments therein or thereto shall be made without the consent of the
Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
forwarded to the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers of Salt Lake County.
The license hereby granted shall be subject to the right
of the City Recreation Department to use the basement of said
building during the year 1934.
