I move that the Resolution be aflop 7 Catmull Harrison . . !�� f Holley. . . tj i2-1li Mr. Chairman . /,/ RESOLUTION Result . . . . v INCREASING THE ESTIMATED REVENUE IN THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FUND BY THE AMOUNT RECEIVED FROM A FEDERAL GRANT IN THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1965, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1966, INCREAS- ING THE APPROPRIATIONS FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FUND BY THE AMOUNT OF SAID FEDERAL GRANT FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR AND TRANSFERRING THE APPROPRIATIONS WITHIN THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FUND AVAILABLE FOR APPROPRIATION AND SETTING UP CERTAIN LINE ITEMS PREVIOUSLY AUTHORIZED FROM UNEXPENDED BALANCES WITHIN SAID FUND. WHEREAS, since the preparation of the budget of Salt Lake City for the fiscal year 1965-1966 relating to the Capital Improvements Fund, Salt Lake City has received a grant from the Federal Government to said fund in the sum of $126,986.00, thereby increasing the amount available in said fund; and, WHEREAS, the said sum so received is subject to being appropriated within said fiscal year; and, WHEREAS, there are available from the Capital Improvements Fund appropriations which can be transferred and certain unexpended balances within said fund which can be utilized for the purposes authorized by this resolution; and, WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City held the 31st day of May, 1966, at which all members of said board were present and all orally waived notice of the time and place and the purpose of said meeting to consider the action covered by this resolution and the action covered by this resolution was unanimously authorized by a vote of said Commission: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, as follows: 1. That the estimated revenue for the Capital Improvements Fund for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1965 and ending June 30, 1966, is hereby increased by the sum of $126,986.00, the amount of said grant received from the Federal Government. 2. That there is hereby appropriated from the Capital Improvements Fund to Account No. 11-R-12, the new Salt Lake City Public Health Center, the sum of $126,986.00, thereby increasing the appropriations to said account from federal grants to a sum of $457,421.00. 3. That there is hereby transferred from the Capital Improvements Fund heretofore appropriated to various account items the following: (a) $20,000.00 heretofore appropriated to the fire station at 2360 Parley's Way, is hereby transferred to the Fire Department Shops improvements at 7th South and 1st West. -2- (b) $36,000.00 heretofore appropriated to the Hall of Justice heating installations, is hereby transferred to Hall of Justice Project No. 13-C, etc., new elevator as per extra work order No. 18. 4. There is hereby appropriated from the unexpended balances within the Capital Improvements Fund the sum of $1300.00 for sprinkling system at the Salt Lake City Sewer Pumping Plant. 5. That adjustments be made in some balances in line items pre- viously set up, all as outlined in the attached schedule, marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof. 6. With the foregoing amendments to the Capital Improvements Fund budget for said fiscal year, the budget for said fund for said fiscal year will be as shown on said Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. 7. The City Auditor is hereby authorized and directed to increase and transfer appropriations as in this resolution authorized.
