RESOLUTION
Result
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, JOSEPH J. DENARDO is retiring after 38 years of employ-
ment with the Engineering Department of Salt Lake City Corporation; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Denardo has worked continuously as an inspector with
the City since March 1, 1937, with the exception of a period of military
service during World War II; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Denardo has worked since 1950 as Head Construction
Inspector in the Engineering Department; and
WHEREAS, he has faithfully and diligently performed all of his
duties while working for Salt Lake City Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City and Salt Lake
City residents owe Mr. Denardo a debt of gratitude for his dedication
to public service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that the Board does hereby express to Mr. Denardo
its sincere and heartfelt appreciation for his dedicated service to
the City and its inhabitants. The Board further extends to him its
best wishes for a long and enjoyable retirement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be delivered
to Mr. Denardo.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 16th day of April, 1974.
