Result RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, At a meeting of the Board of Commissioners held
April 24, 1916, a petition by Mrs. Mary Nowell asking that her
property in Lot 2, Block 50, Plat "B", be released from tax sale
for oity taxes in the sum of $46.90, dated June 20, 1893, and
for sprinkling tax in the sum of $9.10, dated December 18, 1893,
was granted, and the Mayor and City Reoorder authorised to
execute and deliver a quit oleim deed to petitioner covering the
property involved; and
WHEREAS, Since the said action of the Board of Commissioners
it has been determined that a deed had been executed by C. E.
Stanton, Recorder of Salt Lake City, to Salt Lake City for the
taxes above mentioned, in the sum of $46.90, together with certain
expenses, making the same the sum of $50.00; that at the time of
the action aforesaid by the Board of Commissioners the fact of the
execution of the deed aforesaid was unknown to any one connected
with this administraction:
NOW THEREFORE, Be it resolved that the action of the Board of
Commissioners hereinbefore set out, of April 24, 1916, be, and the
same is hereby rescinded, and the said petitioner Mary Nowell,
notified of such action by the City Recorder; and
Be it further resolved that if the said petitioner Mary Nowel
desires to have a deed executed by the Mayor and City Recorder foi
the premises mentioned in her petition, she may have the same upo,
