Result
WHEREAS, Commissioners of the various departments herein-
after specified have made written requests for additional appropria-
tions setting forth the emergencies necessitating the requests; and
o.HEREAS, it is necessary to make such additional appropria-
tions for the support of the city government for the year 1939.
NOW, THFREEDRE, IF IT RESOLVED that an emergency exists and
it is necessary to make additional appropriations for the following
accounts and departments for the year 1939, and that the following
sums of money, or as much thereof as may be necessary, be ana the
same are hereby appropriated for the support of the various depart-
ments indicatea for the calendar year ending December 31, 1939. Said
appropriations are further itemized in the requests on file for such
appropriations and are in addition to those heretofore authorized
and passed by the board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City on Decem-
ber 29, 1938, February 2, 1939, March 14, 1939, March 30, 1939,
April 27, 1939, May 11, 1939, August 2, 1939, August 23, 1939, and
September 28, 1939, to-wit:
