HomeMy WebLinkAbout21 of 1980 - Resolution that the Salt Lake City Council recognizes the importance of improving the access to down / / RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Council recognizes the importance of improving the access to downtown Salt Lake City by promoting mass transportation; and WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Council would like to see mass transportation act as a stimulus to future commerical development in the Central Business District, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Salt Lake City Council endorses the transportation study as presented by Mr. Raymond Bullock, Director of Public Works and Mr. Craig E. Peterson, Director of Development Services. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Salt Lake City Council encourages Mr. Bullock and Mr. Peterson to seek funding for this study from the Urban Mass Transportation Administration.
