Result RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, it has been demonstrated that the citizens
of Salt Lake City desire the establishment of a Public Market, to
be owned and operated by the City, and
WHEREAS, several sites are available for such a
purpose, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners views with favor
the establishment of a Public Market on modern and comprehensive
lines, 140W THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED: that Commissioners Green and Ferry
be, and they are hereby appointed a committee to formulate a
plan looking to the acquisition of a market site by the City,and
that said Committee shall report back to this Commission not later
than August sixteenth.
