Result
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION
HELD TUESDAY, NOVE:.:BER 2nd, 1937.
iEREAS, a Municipal Election was held on Tuesday, the
2nd day of November, A.D. 1937; in this City, and;
WHEREAS, on Monday, the 8th day of November, S.D., 1937,
being te Monday next following said election, the Board of
Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, sitting as a Board of
Canvassers as required by law, convened and did publicly canvass
the returns of such election and did continue in session until
the same was completed; and
WHEREAS, on this the 8th day of November, A.D., 1937,
having completed said canvass, the Board does find from such
canvass that the following named persons were elected by a
plurality of votes cast, to the offices set opposite their
respective names:
Goggin, P. H. Commissioner — for four.'

Matheson, Jno. B. Commissioner — for four
year term
Beesley, Jerrold P. Auditor, — for four
year term
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that certificates of
election issue to the following named persons to the offices set
opposite their respective names-, they and each of them having
received a plurality of all votes cast, and they and each of them
are hereby declared to have been duly elected to said offices and
the City Recorder is hereby directed to issue a certificate of
election to each of said persons, namely:
Goggin, P. H. Commissioner - four year
term
L:atheson, Jno. B. Commissioner - four year
term
Beesley, Jerrold P. Auditor, - four year
term
This resolution shall take effect upon cleption.
