WHEREAS, it is necessary that the total area of Salt Lake City,
together with additional.streets and alleys be ascertained and certi-
fied to be correct for the purpose of Class 'C' road fund allocation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE'IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH:
1. That the present total incorporated area of Salt Lake City is
58.381 square miles as computed by the Salt Lake City Engineer and that
the corporate boundaries of said city are as shown on the map on file
in the City Engineer's office.
2. That in addition to the total miles of roads within Salt Lake
City, as determined on January 1, 1966, there is to be added the follow-
ing:
(a) 28.16 miles of alleys 16 feet and over;
(b) 6.28 miles of streets included as a result of recent
annexations, new subdivisions and streets that have
been developed since January 1, 1966.
3. That Class 'C' road funds have not been requested heretofore
with respect to the streets and alleys listed in Paragraph 2 above.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 30th day of June, 1966. -
