WHEREAS, Herbert George has been employed by Salt Lake City for
the past 13 years in the City Engineer's Department and has now retired
from further employment; and
WHEREAS, during his entire tenure of service he has rendered
valuable and capable service, discharging his duties with efficiency
and professional quality; and
WHEREAS, through his faithful attention to his duties he has
rendered valuable service to Salt Lake City and its inhabitants;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that said Board, on behalf of itself and the
inhabitants of Salt Lake City, does hereby express to Mr. George sincere
thanks and appreciation for his devoted services.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of this
resolution to Mr. George.
