// OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Murna I. Terkelson has served with distinction as Salt
Lake City Historian for the past 26 months; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Terkelson has diligently performed said duties as
Historian, much of the time in addition to her regular duties in the
Engineering Department; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Terkelson has spent her time as historian in working
with and acquainting youth in Salt Lake City schools with the historical
significance of the City & County Building and the Salt Lake City
area; and
WHEREAS, she has faithfully served the residents of the City and
County and performed her duties as City Historian, and has constantly
exhibited consideration and courtesy toward all visitors to said City
& County Building.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY in its own behalf, and in behalf of the residents of
Salt Lake City, that said Board does hereby express to Mrs. Murna I.
Terkelson its sincere thanks and appreciation for her devoted and
unselfish service in conducting the affairs of the City Historian
and in promoting the public interest in the City & County Building.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of this
Resolution to Mrs. Terkelson.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this l$th day of March 1976.
