lst:-That the date when this change in wage scale
is effective be made to read Aug. first,1916 instead
of June first,1916:
2nd:- That the provision covering increase in
wage scale of White Wings be stricken out.

Result RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, for a considerable time past the (lost of all
food products, clothing end other necessaries of life have
been increasing; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire and intention of the Board of
Commissioners of Salt Lake City that all working men employed by
the City should obtain a fair living wage:
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the followings schedule
of wages shall become effeotive on and after Vraiiii44 1916, towit:
' except the White Wings,
Bor all&1111115rday laborers,employed in all the depart-
ments of Salt Lake City, the sum of Two Dollars and Fifty Cents
per day;
For all teamsters furnishing and using their own teams
in all departments of Salt Lake City, the sum of Five Dollars per
day for man and team.
