RESOLUTION
Result -
RHEREAS, the Utah Light & Traction Company has petitioned
the Public Utilities Commission of the State of Utah for permission
to discontinue streetcar service on, and remove its tracks and
equipment from,l5th East Street between 17th and 21st South Streets in
Salt Lake City, Utah; and
FSHERLAS, hearing on said petition has been set by the
Public Utilities Commission for the 18th day of July, A. L. 1929,
et ten o'clock i!. M. of said day.
NOW, THEREFORE, 82: IT RESOLVED that the Board of Commission-
ers of Salt Lake City protest the removal of the said tracks on said
15th East Street between 17th and 21st South Streets and request the
Public Utilities Commission of the State of Utah to deny said peti-
tion and that they hereby instruct .the City Attorney to appear before
the said Public Utilities Commission to represent said Board of Com-
missioners of said Salt Lake City in their protest against said pe-
tition.
This resolution shall take effect upon its adoption.
Pdopted by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah, this 17th day of July, 1929.
