ROLL CALL ?, / VOTING Aye Nay Salt Lake City,Utah, April 8 ,19 75 Mr.Chairman' ✓ Greener j I move that t R sol ton be Lad pted. 7 Harmsen Harrison ✓/ -- Phillips ✓ RESOLUTION Result WHEREAS, one of the greatest assets of Salt Lake City is its heritage; and WHEREAS, the area between Temple Square to Pioneer Memorial, located on First Avenue between State Street and "A" Street, is part of that great heritage; and WHEREAS, the various agencies are cooperating with the Salt Lake City Commission to establish a walking tour between Temple Square and said Pioneer Memorial; and WHEREAS, tourists will take home the impressions they receive while taking this walking tour. NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City requests and encourages the property owners along First Avenue to repair the sidewalks abutting their property so that tourists may have a safe and attractive path on which to walk.
