Philli'•s.L .!.� � �■ RESOLUTION Result // OF APPRECIATION WHEREAS, Ron Boone has been an asset to Salt Lake City since joining the Utah Stars in 1971; and WHEREAS, during his five years in Salt Lake City he has made a name for himself within the community; and WHEREAS, although he now plays for another tean, he still maintains his residence in our community; and WHEREAS, his basketball skills have brought hours of enjoyment to the citizens of Salt Lake City; and WHEREAS, his sportsman-like conduct on and off the court has endeared him to both players and fans. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY, that it does hereby express to Ron Boone sincere and deep appreciation and gratitude for his associations with Salt Lake City and its citizens. As a token of this esteem, said Board requests that he be presented with the key to our City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be delivered to Ron Boone. WILSON, Mayor MILD HI HIGHAM, t y Recorder IFIV REMARKS• Petition No. 24 By Rick Bennett Stating that a bass guitar was stolen from his apartment at 2180 Lake Street and was located at Mel's Levi Shop, first South and 900 West Street, by the Police Department; that he identified it as his guitar but was requested by the Police to leave it with Mel's Levi Shop until after the court case involving the person who had stolen the guitar; that when he later went to Mel's to get the guitar he was told that he had been given permission by the Police to sell it and requesting the City assistance in this matter.
