Result . . .
WHEREAS, Margaret Price has been employed by Salt Lake City in its
Health Department for the past 24 years, first as clerk typist until
1951, then as office manager until July, 1962, and from that time on as
chief clerk in the Division of Vital Statistics; and
WHEREAS, she is retiring from further employment by the city as
of June 1, 1968; and
WHEREAS, during her long tenure of employment she has always rendered
conscientious, dependable and capable service; and
WHEREAS, through her faithful discharge of her duties she has
rendered valuable service to Salt Lake City and its inhabitants:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT
LAKE CITY, UTAH, that said Board, on behalf of itself and on behalf of
the inhabitants of Salt Lake City, does hereby express to Margaret Price
sincere thanks and appreciation for her devoted services.
Said Board extends its best wishes that the future will bring her
added enjoyments and satisfactions.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of this
Resolution to Margaret Price.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
21st day of May, 1968.
