OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Norma B. Hopfenbeck has been employed as a private
secretary to several commissioners in the Department of Water
Supply and Waterworks and the Department of Parks and Public
Property of Salt Lake City during the past twenty—five years;
and
WHEREAS, during her tenure of service in said departments she
has been a conscientious, capable and efficient public servant
deserving of the respect, admiration and esteem or her fellow
employees; and
WHEREAS, she will retire as the private secretary of Commissioner
Conrad B. Harrison on May 31, 1969;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that said Board, in its own behalf and on
behalf of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City, does hereby express
its sincere gratitude and appreciation for the valuable service
which Mrs. Hopfenbeck has rendered to the city and extend to
her its best wishes for a long and enjoyable retirement period.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of this
resolution to Mrs. Hopfenbeck.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
