Result RESOLUTION
In the matter of Petition No. 396 by the Utah Light L Traction
Company for permission to lay a spur track from J. W. Mellenrs
gravel pit in North Salt Lake to its Centerville Line on Beck
Street, at a location Just north of where the Oregon Short Line
Road crosses the tracks of said Company, said spur track to be of
one hundred feet radius curve and one hundred and four feet from
point of curve to the east property line; it being the understanding
of the Board of Commissioners that the permission to put in such
spur track is for the purpose of hauling gravel for the use of the
State Road Commission in the oonstruotion of oonorete road between
Salt Lake City and Murray.
Be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
That the petition above mentioned be filed, and the permission
to put in such spur track be granted, the same to continue during
the pleasure of the Board of Commissioners, and upon the following
conditions:
That the gravel from the gravel pit of said Mellen shall only
be transported over the following streets, to-wit:
Commenoing at the point where said spur track oonneots with
the Centerville Line of the Utah Light a Traction Company on Beck
Street; thence southeasterly to Second West Street; thence south
on Second West Street to First North Street; thence east on First

North Street to West Temple Street; thence south on West Temple
Street to Ninth South Street; thence east on Ninth South Street to
State Street; thence south on State Street to the city limits at
Eleventh South Street.
Provided further that the said petitioner shall lay such spur
traok in said street and oonstruct a crossing at said Beck Street
to the satisfaotion of the Supervisor of Streets.04 LIvRAFIA'rioS0
Provided further that said spur track shall only be used for
the purpose of hauling gravel for the use of the State Road
Commission in constructing a concrete road between Salt Lake City
