RESOLUTION
Result . . .
WHEREAS, upon motion of the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah, it was proposed to review the budget for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 1964 and ending June 30, 1965 for the purpose of
reopening the same to appropriate $12,000 from the unencumbered appro-
priation of the Capital Improvement Fund to be used in providing fur-
nishings for the new Rose Park Library; and
WHEREAS, notice of the time and place for holding a public hearing
for the consideration of such proposal was duly published for the time
and in the manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the time and place so
noticed and no one appeared thereat to object thereto:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that it is to the best interest of Salt Lake City
to reopen said budget and to appropriate said sum for the purpose states1;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said budget is hereby reopened and the
sum of $12,000 from the unencumbered appropriation of the Capital Improve-
ment Fund is hereby appropriated to be used for procuring furnishings for
the new Rose Park Library.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor be, and he hereby is,
empowered to transfer and use said funds so appropriated for the purpose
so stated.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
10th day of September, 1964.
