RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, George G. Nelson was for forty years employed by Salt Lake
City in its Street Department, performing important duties in that department;
and,
WHEREAS, his long tenure of service to Salt Lake City has been charac-
terized by conscientious devotion to the city and its interests; and,
WHEREAS, he has voluntarily terminated his employment with Salt Lake
City by retiring from its service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT
LAKE CITY, UTAH:
That said Board in behalf of itself and the inhabitants of Salt Lake
City does hereby express to Mr. Nelson sincere appreciation for his long and
faithful service and for his devotion to the interests of Salt Lake City.
The Board extends its best wishes that his days of retirement may be
pleasant and enjoyable.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Recorder give to him a copy of this
resolution.
