// OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Willie J. Nieser has been employed in the Parks Depart-
ment for the last 13 years serving in varied capacities; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Nieser has retired effective February 9, 1977 due
to health problems; and
WHEREAS, during all of his tenure of employment with Salt Lake
City he has served with fidelity and efficiency and could be depended
upon to discharge every duty and assignment with ability and thoroughness
and has thus rendered valuable service to Salt Lake City and its
inhabitants; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Nieser commenced his work with the Parks Department
as a laborer, later being promoted to assistant florist, then to
groundsman and eventually to a florist 3.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, it does hereby express to Willie J. Nieser sincere
and deep appreciation and gratitude for his long and faithful service
to Salt Lake City and its citizens. The Board further expresses its
best wishes for happiness and improved health in his retirement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be delivered
to Willie J. Nieser.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this -2nd _ day of March, 1977.
