(Ted) Bell departed this life on the 18th day of May, 1971; and WHEREAS, Mr. Bell was employed by Salt Lake City in excess of 23 years in the Department of Public Affairs and Finance, and during his long tenure of employment with Salt Lake City, he served with fidelity and efficiency; and WHEREAS, Mr. Bell has served as supervising foreman at the City cemetery in said department for several years and was always pleasant and courteous to all with whom he came in contact in his work and thereby rendered Salt Lake City valuable service as a repre- sentative of the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that it does hereby express in its own behalf and in behalf of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City its deep and sincere appreciation for the life and service of Samuel T. (Ted) Bell and for his contribution to the effective administration in the department in which he served. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Board of Commissioners does hereby express its deep sympathy to the family of Samuel T. (Ted) Bell. The City Recorder is directed to transmit a copy of this resolution to the family of Mr. Bell.
