/ RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Joseph H. Greenig has been employed in the
Engineering Department of Salt Lake City for a period of
47 years; and
WHEREAS, he has now voluntarily retired from his employ-
ment with Salt Lake City; and
WHEREAS, during all of his long tenure of employment by
the city he has served with fidelity and efficiency and could
always be relied upon to discharge whatever duty was assigned
him in a proper manner and has thus rendered valuable service
to Salt Lake City and its inhabitants:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMIS-
SIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY that it does hereby express to Joseph
H. Greenig deep appreciation and gratitude for the fine and
faithful service he has rendered to Salt Lake City and its
citizens. Said Board further expresses best wishes that he will
find health, happiness and satisfaction during the days of his
retirement.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of
this resolution to Mr. Greenig.
