RESOLUTION
Result OF APPRECIATION

WHEREAS, the Citizens' Advisory Committee, consisting of
public spirited citizens of Salt Lake City, was heretofore
appointed by the City Commission to review the financial struc-
ture and problems of Salt Lake City and make recommendations
to the City Commission of ways and means whereby said financial
problems can best be met; and
WHEREAS, said Committee has diligently pursued the assign-
ment thus made and has devoted much time and thought to the
problems involved; and
WHEREAS, the services of said Committee were gratuitously
given; and
WHEREAS, said Committee has submitted to the City Commis-
sion the results of its review of the assigned problems and has
submitted its specific recommendations in connection therewith;
all of which are of great assistance to the City Commission and
the city as a whole:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMIS-
SIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY, that said Board, on behalf of itself,
and on behalf of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City, does hereby
express to said Citizens' Advisory Committee, and its individual
members, its sincere appreciation and thanks for the services
said Committee has thus rendered to Salt Lake City and for the
thought, time and effort contributed by each member of said
Committee in this assignment, evidencing a deep interest in, and
concern for, the proper financing and administration of the affairs
of Salt Lake City.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of
this Resolution to the Chairman of said Committee.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah, this llth day of June, 1968.
