Result
WHEREAS, this boar resolved on the 17th day of February
1977 that the proposed conversion of overhead utilities to under-
ground services along portion of Northmont Way and North Hills Drive
in the area of the city known as the North Hills Subdivision was in
the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City, Utah, as follows:
1. That it is the intention of this Board to create a special
improvement district to make the improvements as set forth in this
resolution, which are deemed to be in the public interest and will
promote the public welfare.
2. The said improvement district will encompass Lots 10, 11,
13 and 14, Northcrest Subdivision Plat "B", Section 20, T1N, R1E,
Salt Lake Base and Meridian, Lots 1 to 10 inclusive, North Hills
Plat "C", and Lots 1 to 4 inclusive, North Hills Plat "D", Section
30, T1N, R1E, Salt Lake Base and Meridian. Said area is bounded
on the North by Northmont Way, on the South by North Hills Drive,
on the East by Hilltop Road and on the west by Northmont Way.
3. That the proposed improvement consists of converting all
existing overhead utility lines to underground locations in the area
described in paragraph 2 of this resolution, which conversion will
cost an estimated $ 13,597.63 . Said cost estimate includes
the contract price of the improvement, engineering and clerical
services, advertising and other administrative expenses.
4. That said costs and expenses of the district created are to
be levied and assessed upon the abutting, adjoining and adjacent
lots and lands along or upon which the improvements are to be made,
and upon lots and lands benefited by such improvements and included
within said improvement district.
5. That this Board will hold a public hearing to consider said
improvement district on the 6th day of r;11 , 1977, at
the hour of 10:30 a.m. in Room 301, City and County Building, Salt
Lake City, Utah.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
