RESOLUTION .
rHEREAS, The superintendents of the various departments, at
the expense of a greet deal of thought, time and money, submit each
year, for the information of this Board, a detailed report of the
activities of their department , and their recommendations for
increasing the efficiency of the Public Service; and
rHEREAS, In the past it has been the custom to order said
reports filed without knowledge of their contents or consideration
of the recommendations:
NOr THEREFORE, Be it resolved that this Board, sitting as a
Committee of the thole, listen to the reading of the various reports,
and give consideration to the recommendations of the superintendents
contained therein; and
Be it further resolved, That the City Recorder arrange for
the hearing of said reports and the presence of the respective
superintendents, not later then sixty days after said reports have
been presented to the Board of Commissioners.
