RESOLUTION•
Result
WHEREAS, the Government of the United States gave to Salt
Lake City certain buildings and equipment to improve, operate
and maintain the City's airport, including the dwelling houses
at Airport No. 1, the motive being to assist the City directly
and the Government indirectly in bringing about a first-class
airport and facilities at Salt Lake City, in furtherance of the
spirit and intent of the aforementioned propositions,
BE IT RESOLVED: That all monies in the Special Airbase
Village Fund in excess of those required for the operation and
maintenance of the Airbase Village be transferred to Airport
Trust Fund No. 20, and the City Auditor is hereby authorized to
transfer the funds in accordance with this resolution from time
to time upon written request by the Commissioner of the Depart-
ment of Parks and Public Property.
It is necessary in the opinion of the Board of Commissioners
for the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake
City, Utah, that this resolution take effect upon its passage.
This resolution shall take effect upon its) adoption.
