OF APPRECIATION
/
WHEREAS, Velma Tueller and Myrtes W. Owen were, for many years, employees
of Salt Lake City, employed in the office of Clerk of the City Court and in
the office of City Treasurer, respectively; and
WHEREAS, their long service was consistently characterized by faithful,
conscientious and efficient devotion to Salt Lake City and its inhabitants;
and
WHEREAS, they have now voluntarily terminated their employment with
Salt Lake City by retiring from its service:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT
LAKE CITY that said Board, in behalf of itself and the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City, does hereby express to said Velma Tueller and Myrtes W. Owen
deep and sincere appreciation for the long and faithful service which they
have rendered Salt Lake City and for the devotion and fidelity that has
characterized that service.
Said Board hereby extends to them best wishes that their future may
be enjoyable and pleasant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Recorder give to each of them a
copy of this resolution.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
3rd day of February, 1965.
