OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, John G. Oglesby has been employed by Salt Lake City
Corporation for 29 years; and
WHEREAS, he will retire February 15, 1970, from the Power and
Heating Division of the Department of Streets and Public Improvements;
and
WHEREAS, he has faithfully served Salt Lake City and its resi-
dents and has been diligent and efficient in the discharge of his
duties and assignments; and
WHEREAS, Salt Lake City and its residents owe him a debt of
gratitude for his years of service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that it does hereby express to John G. Oglesby
its most sincere and heartfelt appreciation for his faithful service
and a job well done. Said Board further expresses its best wishes for
a long, productive and enjoyable period of retirement.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of this
resolution to Mr. Oglesby.
