RESOLUTION
Result . . . . OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Truman S. Curtis has served as City Purchasing
Agent since April 4, 1960; and,
WHEREAS Mr. Curtis will retire from his position as
City Purchasing Agent effective February 20, 1971; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Curtis has faithfully and diligently
performed his duties with the city; and
WHEREAS, Salt Lake City and its residents owe him a debt
of gratitude for his devoted service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMIS-
SIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that it does hereby express
to Mr. Curtis its sincere and deep appreciation for his
faithful service to the city and its inhabitants. Said Board
further extends to him its best wishes for a long and enjoy-
able retirement period.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy
of this Resolution to Mr. Curtis.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah, this 26thh day of January, 1971.
